These non-regenerable general purpose metal removing cartridges are ideal for removing heavy metals from water.

These refillable resin cartridges are ideally for use in a variety of applications. This high quality resin will remove calcium, magnesium and other metals including lead, copper, zinc and aluminium sulphate. These metal removing resin cartridges can be used within our Heavy Metal Removing Systems on their own to remove metals from water. This resin can also be used within our Heavy Metal Removal Carbon System along with a carbon filter and sediment filter to produce excellent water quality for fish ponds, aquariums and tanks.

These refillable cartridges are available in a variety of sizes – 10 inch, 20 inch and Inline as well as multiples designed for use in our Heavy Metal Removing Resin Systems. We also provide an eco option for our customers with refillable containers purchased prior. The eco option will come in a clear bag with resin only. The 10 inch and 20 inch cartridges come in a durable clear plastic which are straight forward and easy to refill. The Inline cartridge comes with 2 x 1/4 inch fittings and 2 x clips for fitting to the membrane.

Description


This blended resin has a very high capacity for metals, initially removing calcium and magnesium. It will then continue to remove heavy metals in preference to calcium and will actually release calcium previously removed. It will reduce heavy metals, such as lead, copper, zinc, silver copper, aluminium sulphate to a level considered safe for pool fish and also alkaline earth metals such as beryllium magnesium strontium barium and radium.

This heavy metal removing resin is our own unique blend. This has been specially formulated to provide high capacity removal of toxic metal RO-Man use a high quality mixed bed DI resin to ensure a high consistent performance over a longer time frame.

The cartridges can come pre-filled with resin or can be left empty.
