Simple Water Softening Solution

This simple water softening solution is ideal for use in areas with hard water. RO-Man have formulated a resin which will remove limescale and soften water.

This resin is perfect for use in spas, hot tubs and many other applications requiring water softeners. Our water softening resin formulation comes in a 7 litre vessel and can be either filled with resin or non-filled to be reused.

Our water softening resin works with a process of ion exchange. The resin consists of small, bead-like plastic spheres packed inside the vessel of the water softener. These resin beads hold a negative charge which will attract any positively charged ions. The pre-charged resin beads are initially coated with sodium ions which hold a positive charge. When this process of ion exchange occurs the supply water is softened.

This water softening solution vessel will last until the resin has expired. Once this resin has expired, it can either be replaced or regenerated with a brine solution.
