Low Pressure Switch

Low Pressure switches are typically used to protect the pump from a low pressure situation resulting in loss of feed water. Low inlet pressure makes the unit produce more waste water, less product water as well as producing lower quality water and fill storage tanks slower. The pressure switch is normally situated between the pump and the water pipe, turning the pump off if water stops from the main supply or if the pressure is too low for the system to function correctly.
