High Pressure switches are designed to turn off a pump when a set pressure is reached in order to protect the Reverse Osmosis System and its components from damage. Typically used with a float valve or a pressurized tank system or open tank system, when a pressure of 40 PSI is reached the switch will open and when the pressure drops below 20 PSI the switch will close.
