This replacement filter set is for Dental Reverse Osmosis Systems:

5 Micron Spun Sediment filter (Dental Reverse Osmosis System)

• Spun sediment filters are manufactured in 100% pure polypropylene fibre made using melt-blown technique. It will remove sediments and particles such as dirt, sand, silt and rust.

Dental Carbon Block filter (Dental Reverse Osmosis System)

• This ultra fine, high grade carbon block filter has been specifically designed for use in laboratory situations. Ideal for filtering particulates, lead, chlorine, chloramines and other contaminants from water will assist in preparing the water for autoclaves and sterile applications.

Refill of Deionisation (DI) Resin (Dental Reverse Osmosis System)

• Demineralisation resins are used to reduce the TDS (polishing the water). The TDS from a RO unit is not always as low as needed so the usage of DI resin will bring the TDS down to nearly 0 TDS. We only use high quality virgin mixed bed DI resin as this gives a high consistent performance over a longer lifespan.

Recommended usage:

• Sediment Filters should be replaced whenever the production rate slows or at the same time as the carbon filter.
• Carbon filters should be changed every 6 months or 1000 gallons product water (whichever comes first).
• The DI resin should be replaced whenever the TDS goes above 0-. When changing resin the TDS between the RO membrane and DI stage should be tested as well to make sure the TDS out of the systems is low (92-98% of the Feed TDS). If not the systems should be flushed for 10-20 minutes then retested.
