These replacement filter sets are for Whole House Filtration Systems. Each of these systems have the same type of filter, depending on the household size, there will be a different quantity of Granulated Active Carbon included. However, all systems will have the same stages of filtration, regardless of the household size.
Whole House Filtration System
Stage 1: 5 Micron Spun Sediment filter – This filter will reduce sediment and particles including dirt, silt and sand down to a size of 5 microns.
Stage 2: Chlorplus Carbon filter – This filter utilizes activated carbon technology to reduce sediment while providing superior chloramine and chlorine reduction than Granulated Active Carbon (GAC).
Recommended Usage:
We recommend that water purification filters are changed regularly. This filter set will provide 1 years’ supply. We recommend that the sediment filter is replaced every 3 months. The Granulated Active Carbon filter is replaced yearly. This is recommended for normal water conditions and depending on the water quantity used.
